	Mira We supplied a full turnkey project for Kolfer Mira. Vacucom were asked to supply a solution to handle various moulds which had to be taken from the mould tool and then offered onto trimming stations and then packaged. We came up with a cost effective solution to supply and install a Jib crane with Demag ergo hoist which we then attached a Coval vacuum unit and by utilising the SAS framing system and quick change unit enabling the customer to change heads very quickly with minimal downtime.

Vacucom mainly supply SAS parts as full working and tested grippers and manipulators, here is an example of a gripper we supplied to one of our customers who moulds automotive parts. We were asked to design and build a gripper to handle a very thin manifold which was only 10mm diameter. To handle the sprue, we introduced two single acting sprue grippers and due to the length of the sprue which needed to be granulated we needed to introduce a sprue cutter which proved very successful.

	VAC easy Lifter Sheet steel handling, Coval 800kg vacuum lifter supplied by Vacucom with compact energy saving 3 phase electrical motor, even if there is a power cut the load will stay in situ due to a safety non return valve from the pump to the pad network. The main beam acts as a reservoir and ensures that the load can be handled safely if or when power failure occurs, CE marked to European directives, with electrical or pneumatic versions available and 2, 3 and 4 beam sizes available.
